He started so many oil and gas companies some that are still in busness today ie. esso and chevron. the rockefellers are now worth about a net balance of about $5,000,000,000. they were the first billionairs in the U.S.A. and ran the oil fields and almost had a monopoly on the U.S.A.. This was the most inovative family in the early years of the U.S.A..
